[MACEP] School districts - Do you have a dedicated web designer/developer on staff?

At Pleasant Hill School District, we contracted with a local webpage
designer/hoster for creating a new version of our website (which I
designed, starting in 1995), since my website was not "modern enough".
So, HeroWeb designed a site with what they considered important. I
suppose it's efficient, but I have trouble, at times, maintaining a site
that's NOT WYSIWYG in nature. I "fill in boxes" that the site then puts
where IT wants it to go with ITS formatting. Grumble Grumble. They pay
me for two hours a day to maintain the website, posting things
principals and others send to me from the two schools. For the other
six hours of the school day, I volunteer my services to help teachers in
the classes I've taught over the last 47 years: chemistry, physics,
photography, world history, Latin, German, Italian, and calligraphy.
Or, I'm available as a Very Last Minute Substitute when the sub who was
SUPPOSED to arrive, has not. I've often taught the students'
GRANDPARENTS and I've been accused of being a vampire (very white skin,
and the picture of me in their grandparents yearbook looks the same).
