It is hard to accept that we have lost one of the true pioneers in computer education. Paul was an educator that I truly respected. His energy and ideas kept many educators moving in positive directions. Now that I am retired and living in Montana, I have not had the close contact that many of you had with Paul, but I remember his creativity and dedication. He worked with technology, but his real interest was improving the lives of students. He will be missed by many educators and students that were lucky enough to know him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

His work will have lasting impact on the lives of students for many years to come. I am proud to be carrying on his work with ORVED, to this day. All that he designed and built, with passion and expertise, sails on.
