I have just completed my latest book, Brain Science for Educators and Parents. It is available free on the Web at http://iae-pedia.org/Brain_Science <http://iae-pedia.org/Brain_Science> . The book is for preservice and inservice teachers, teachers of teachers, and parents of school-age children.

The ten chapters cover a wide range of topics, including:

• Human and computer intelligence.

• IQ and cognitive development.

• Cognitive development.

• Mythologies about the human brain. (You may be surprised by some things that you believe are “facts,” but aren’t.)

• Creativity, curiosity, commitment, and critical thinking.

• Brain disorders and damage, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and concussion.

• Long-term, short-term, and sensory memory.

• Neuroplasticity—the changing brain.

• The teenage brain.

• The aging brain.

· Consciousness, free will, hypnosis.

· Roles/uses of computers in all of the above.
