Better yet, check out award winning eRecycling non-profit organization
NextStep Recycling. Their recycling program directly benefits
education and job training both locally and abroad. They hire and
train local folks to disassemble electronics for truly environmentally
responsible eRecycling, and also train folks to rebuild computers/
electronics to sell at reasonable prices in their retail shops. They
also have a program where they donate rebuilt computers to schools in
less advantaged countries. Based out of Eugene, NextStep just opened
their third location in Oregon. Lorraine Kerwood, founder and
President, also travels across the country to share their model
community program. You can recycle anything electronic, all computer
parts, etc. Recycle as much as you need, no limits. They will pick up.
Set up an account. Great organization. Can't say enough. Tell them I
recommended them to you.
I highly recommend NextStep recycling.
