Hi, Tim!

The poor quality printed calendar was another reason that they disliked the Google Calendar. It was much better than our previous online calendar but it still left much to be desired.  

With the online version, unless you were logged into the Google account, all you could see in each time slot was "busy." That's not much help when you are trying to figure out who you can swap with. 

Google did have an option to sync with iCal so I've been playing with the idea of having iCal auto open and sync when a teacher starts their laptop. I worked on it a bit last spring but have not touched it since then  there were some problems with the syncing. When I reuploaded my calendar, it duplicated all events, not just the changes.
