Look at the Samsung 6-Series LCD HDTVs. 40" model is LN40A650, 46" model
is LN46A650. The Samsung 6-series are very highly reviewed... however,
you could save some money with last year's 5-series, but you should go
see both in person to get an idea for what you prefer.
Also, just FYI, Amazon.com has very good pricing on these TVs and a
great return policy. If you prefer to purchase locally, Video Only will
often match or beat Amazon's pricing.
Enjoy your new TV!
