[MACEP] TV RECOMMENDATIONS?

Hi Alex,
 
We bought a 47" Samsung a few months ago at home, and it was the highest rated by Consumer Reports. Great picture and sound, and lots of inputs. Best Buy is usually a pretty good choice for that stuff.

I'm buying a 42" tv for our alt. ed classroom.  Going to wall mount it and use it for dvd/video, cable, computer and maybe some gaming.
 
Any recommendations (LCD vs. Plasma), from either work or personal experience.
