Hi, Paul!
I wanted to thank you for posting this. It has worked out great both in use and, especially in timing. A few days after you posted it, a student teacher asked if I would install Google Earth on our aging G3 desktops. I recommended using Flash Earth instead.
Today, we installed Google Earth on our MacBooks. After the 11 steps per laptop to download, install, and reset all the security measures to put it on the student's dock, Flash Earth looked even more appealing.
