On Friday 4/11/08 the UO had a Symposium on Computational Thinking
integrated throughout the curriculum.
My small piece of the presentation included a brief discussion of the
idea that Two Brains Are Better Than One. I have now written and
posted an article on that topic that may interest you and/or students
you come into contact with. It is available free at: http://iae-pedia.org/Two_Brains_Are_Better_Than_One
It emphasizes computation thinking—combining human and computer
brainpower, in solving problems and accomplishing tasks in math and
the sciences.
Slides for my presentation are available at http://uoregon.edu/~moursund/ComputationalThinking.pptx
