Up until two years ago I used an apple IIGS and imagewriter. I had a
program called toyshop, that printed out patterns for my kids to build
working paper/cardboard models in my design class. It was great for
teaching direction following, eye/hand skills and fabrication skills. The
projects cost pennies to build, you just glued the paper to cardboard, used
an exacto knife and white glue and you were good to go....
I loved watching their faces as I put the 5.25 floppy into the drive and
they heard the dot matrix printer buzzing away...
