[MACEP] Parallels?

I use Parallels and Windows XP on my Macbook because we have a mixed
network of both Macs and PC¹s. Being able to switch back and forth between
platforms allows me to have both sets of tools for administering either
platform. All my Windows Administrative tools are available as is my Apple
Remote Desktop software. I haven¹t found any other reason to use the Macbook
this way unless you had a program specific to Windows that you really needed
that wasn¹t available in Mac OS X.
I¹ve been running my Macbook this way for quite a few months now and haven¹t
experienced any bugginess. The one thing that I don¹t like is that when you
insert a cd/dvd Windows will recognize the disk and not Mac OS X. You will
have to close Parallels in order to use a disk in Mac OS X. Other than that
it¹s been working great!
As far as licensing, you still need to license the software as if you had
two machines. For example, you would need a license for Office on Mac OS X
and a license for Office on the Windows side.
