[MACEP] ISP recommendations?

I keep my ISP separate from my personal email services and that has
worked well. I currently use Comcast for my ISP, but don't use
their email. Instead I actually have three personal email
accounts. This arrangement allows me to change ISPs at will without
changing email addresses. It's worked well for the last five or six
years and through three major address changes. My email has stayed
the same through all of the ISP changes.

I have a free account at hotmail.com that's one that I use online
when I suspect that it will result in significant spam. I just
accept the fact that mailbox will get cluttered with junk. I also
anticipate that at some point the spam will get to be to much and I
will pick another hotmail address and start over.

I have a personal email account from http://www.netidentity.com/ that
I pay about $24 a year to have. I keep that address pretty close to
the vest. It's basically for family and very safe email that's
unlikely to generate spam at all. I've had it for five or six years
now and it's still very clean.

Finally, I have a free Google mail account that's pretty new, but
seems to be pretty good at allowing me to keep the amount of spam at
a minimum. It's probably not a fair comparison though since I
actually use it pretty infrequently.

Good luck,

Mike
