Have you checked the event logs? Have you run chkdsk? Is the server
running any kind of roll back software?

A different, but similar story:

hello all,
I thought I would share this head scratcher with you all. I have a
windows 2003 server and for some strange reason any file created after
5/30/07 disappears. I can create a new file, save it, restart the
machine and presto its gone!! I did a search for *.* and can not locate
any files past May 30th, except the file changes accruing in real time.
Also any email received after 5/30 goes away after restart....
help is appeicated ASAP
