Tux Paint is a Kid Pix type program--works great--our elementary teachers
love it

I obtained most of this info courtesy of Randy Orwin, Bainbridge Island,

AM software for K-2

Hi!
I'm working on a lesson plan book for K-2 computer classes. While much of
the software they will be using is part of their operating systems (web
browser, notepad) I'd like to include information about no-cost software
equivlents for
Kid Pix
Kidspiration (or Inspiration)
Keyboarding
Ideally, the software will run on both Mac and Windows.
Any suggestions for both software and lesson plan content will be much
appreciated.
Thanks!
---Mary
