[MACEP] MICROPHONE NEEDED

We have a couple of Canon ZR800 camcorders that have external microphone
jacks.

I tried a computer microphone in the jack but it doesn't work.  I'm
guessing it needs power.

The manual says to use a condenser microphone with it's own power supply.
It's a 3.5 mm jack.

Any recommendations on what microphone to buy and from where?
