We're actually testing out the Google Apps for Education as part of the 
Oregon Virtual School District project.  I don't know if or how it might 
fit into the OVSD, but I certainly jumped at the opportunity to play 
with it.  In a remarkably-short period of time, we were able to get 
OVSD-branded home page, mail and calendar up and running:
