I think you missed the point, Jim. Virginia isn't trying to "get around"
the district's filtering software. She wants to find free web hosting
for students that isn't blocked because it doesn't need to be blocked.

Why would we suggest sites to students that "get around" the district's
filtering software ?
To do so could put the staff member that gives out the sites in conflict
with school district policies..........not real healthy for your
employment status. Students are free to post what ever they want from
home, friends, or any public internet site.......they don't need to do
this from a school connection........... IMO.
Plus any sites that "get around" the district's filtering software will
soon be seen in the logs and likely be blocked anyway.
