Howard,

ARD client v 2.x and 3.x will run on both PPC and Intel
ARD Admin v 2.x will only run on on PPC
ARD Admin v 3.x will run on both PPC and Intel

In short, you need to either run ARD Admin v2 from your eMac OR upgrade to ARD Admin v3 to run it on your Intel Mac.
