[MACEP] Slow Safari

So the troubleshooting side of me wants to know what Firefox or
Mozilla would do in a race with Safari on the same mac. Got a
stopwatch?
I've often noticed that even my new mac surfs slower than my PC, but
they are of such different builds that I've never thought it a fair
test.
