Check the profiles. Oftentimes firefox settings or particularly
extensions act wonky when going from one version to the next. Also,
certain websites choose to ignore nice things like web standards, then
when a browser like Firefox upgrades and becomes more
standards-compliant (or safe), poorly-coded websites (Certain regional
library sites come to mind here) tend to break on them.

First, try backing up and then wiping the firefox profile (located in
~/.mozilla/firefox/[randomstring] or %PROFILEDIR%\Application
Data\Firefox\[randomstring]) and seeing if that fixes the problem. If
that doesn't change anything, check the html validator at www.w3c.org
against the sites not working and see if they're just not doing it
right, then send their webmaster a link to the w3c validation of their
page with all the errors on it.

Cheers,
Mike
