TECHNOLOGY FAIR AT PSU ON MAY 16

The Northwest Education Cluster (NEC) will hold a Technology Fair at 
Portland State University on Tuesday, May 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 
p.m. for both K-12 and higher education staff and faculty.  More than 35 
vendors will exhibit in the Smith Student Union building, including 
Epson, Texas Instruments, 3Com, GenevaLogic, and HP, as well as more 
specialized educational software vendors such as Learning.com and 
Curiosity. This is a great opportunity for computer educators from all 
around the greater Portland area to check out the latest educational 
software and hardware!

GUEST SPEAKER:  NEC is also sponsoring Duncan Wyse, President of the 
Oregon Business Council and member of the Oregon State Board of 
Education, to give a presentation on Education in Oregon and take 
questions from staff and faculty at 3:30 p.m. in Room 294 of Smith 
Student Union.

So mark your calendars and join us in the afternoon for the exhibits, 
giveaways, and a great guest speaker!
