Hello all,
Does anyone have a system I can donate to this student? She needs a laptop that is fast enough to get on the internet, but nothing too fast. Is there an older unit laying around that can be gifted to this kid? I have donated software I can install and will provide tech support.
Please contact me off list if you can help or have a lead I can I can follow.

"Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists"

We talked together awhile ago about the possibility of my getting a hold of (or you) computer resource people and equipment for a student in my program who will age out of program in June. She has communication needs and the use of a laptop style system would help her a lot. OR programs that go with communication needs. She's in a motorized wheelchair and has use of her hands though with limitations. She can access the internet and programs on a CD style program. Her family has very limited resources. Any help/suggestions you can give would be great.

Thanks Ira
