I'm not sure how to solve the cat and the laptop situation, but it
reminds me of something weird I saw this weekend I'm hoping someone
knows how to solve.
I was at my brother-in-law's house this weekend and noticed that the
monitor on his HP computer with Windows XP was turned on its side (ie-
turned 90 degrees counterclockwise). Somehow when his youngest daughter
was using a kids program, the image on the monitor flipped 90 degrees,
therefore, forcing him to have to physically flip the monitor 90 degrees
to view the screen content. His warranty expired and tech support wants
to charge him an arm and a leg for assistance so he's trying to find
answers on his own. We tried to go into display settings, but his
computer was doing some weird things, the screen went blank, we had to
restart, and I had to go elsewhere. Any ideas?
