This is the attitude that drives people _AWAY_ from Macs. Want more
people to embrace your platform? Write an informative, helpful and
positive e-mail like Richard Adams did.
That said, my next home computer will probably be a Mac, but certainly
not for the unpretentiousness of some of their user base.

Not being the original poster, I can't comment on his motivation, but I
will say that after a few years of working in a heterogeneous network,
the Mac really >is< the best solution in almost every case, for reasons
I don't begin to have time to go into right now. I will say this,
however: any decision-maker insisting upon running a windows-only shop
is really being short-sighted IMO. Not saying if you're stuck in such a
place that it's your fault, though.
