I also think it's important to get higher screen resolutions. We just got
a nice cheap Dell projector, but the input resolution it wants is 800x600,
which is okay if you've got it set up as a second monitor, but causes
problems if you've got your screen set to a more normal 1024x768. I regret
the fact that we didn't spend extra money for the higher screen resolution
projector.

Buying one for every classroom seems fair on the surface, but you are
almost certain to have a percentage of classrooms that never use it. Is
there a way to offer teachers a choice of having a projector or . . . fill
in the blank? I don't like it when my district decides to give us stuff
(like they just bought every school a digital camera) without asking--we
already are overflowing with cameras and in desperate need of some other
techno gear. But that's an aside. Happy days are ahead with classroom
projectors!!
