[MACEP] domain name + webhosting results

Hello, fellow Macepers ,

I am SO JAZZED! I did it! I now have my domain name at  
compassions-doorway.com. I also learned that the domain name is not  
case sensitive. Was unaware of that.

I ended up using golivehost.com to register my domain, which costs  
$13.95 a year and goes through Dotster.

I am also using golivehost for my web hosting. I am starting off with  
the managed webhosting while I get it set up and working as desired. I  
figure it may be 2-6 months (depending how busy I am) paying that rate  
at $25.95/month. Then I will switch to the standard webhosting through  
golivehost at the yearly rate of $119.50.

Even when I was just exploring my possibilities, golivehost support has  
been incredibly wonderful! Now, with the managed webhosting, they even  
did the pointing for me, I think because of my question about how to do  
it.

I am SO happy with golivehost.com!

I am also planning on using Mozilla. I haven't had much time to work on  
design lately, but I did open my files with it and take a look. I think  
I will be able to make it work. Then there's CSS that I need to learn.  
Ah... patience. (:>)
